Melea Verdejo/sav blanc Organic 70cl

Description

Named after the rare bee Anthophora Melea, the range comprises two wines inspired by this rare insect. These include a white Verdejo and Sauvignon Blanc blend.
The white grape variety Verdejo is native to north-central Spain’s Rueda wine region, where it is used to make fresh, citrus- and pear-flavored wines with medium body. Winemakers sometimes blend Verdejo with Sauvignon Blanc and the Spanish grape Viura, but Verdejo is more and more popular as a high-quality, standalone varietal wine that is excellent served chilled as an aperitif or with light meals.
